Why Podcast?

Some people may think I am crazy, and to be fair, they are right. To many of my viewers and friends, I am just the wild guy with a lot of energy who hall the gull to get up in front of a camera and talk to the world about the things that make me tick. I love that reputation, because it is, in a sense, exactly who I strive to be. Through my nearly 38 years of experience in the boating industry, I have taken in a world of knowledge about business, boats, and everything in between. I have made connections with people that are invaluable to my success and my continued business growth. By making my vlogs, podcasts and blogs, I intend to give back some of this good fortune that has helped me along the way. Sure, it is fun to let creativity flow in the show room when I plan my videos and vlogs, but there is nothing like the reward of knowing that I am helping someone learn.

The reason I have introduced podcasting to my fleet of communications outlets is to help out the people who just don’t have time to do one thing. I am a multitasker myself; if I am not doing at least three things at any given moment I feel as though I am wasting my time- or rather, not using it effectively. I have been known to listen to audio books and podcasts on my way to work in the morning or on significant car rides from time to time so I can take in as much information as I can. This is the only time in my day when I am not running my business, playing a round of golf, or enjoying time with my family. Having these audio recordings allows for me to expand my knowledge without having to change my life schedule; that is invaluable. I am making this podcast with people like me in mind. I am thinking about the passionate business owners who work from the moment they wake up to the time they fall asleep. I am thinking about boaters who dream of summertime around their busy schedule. I am making a product that can be consumed without a schedule change because that is where real magic happens.

Welcome aboard, friends.
